Takreem Home and Community Care is a not-for-profit charitable incorporated organisation, managed by a board consisting of talented professionals, and have a workforce of professionally trained Disability Support and Aged Care Workers (more commonly known as carers).

Takreem’s professional carers assist the elderly and people with severe and profound disabilities, such as people who require a wheelchair for mobility, and/or have intellectual or other developmental disabilities, in accessing the community and enhancing their quality of life. Our main aim is to assist people who require in home respite in order to remain living in their family homes or who need some support with basic daily tasks in order to live independently.

This involve providing personal care to these individuals (including toileting, dressing, showering, administering medication, other medical care) to enable them to live normal, active lives and reach their full potential, according to their individual goals and aspirations.

The Disability Support Workers are specifically trained in Disability Care through an internal training program to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to each client. Takreem is initially employing Disability Support Workers with a nursing background, or experienced in Aged Care and the Disability Services Industry.
